Oxygen therapy is commonly used in a clinical nursing setting. This device administers humidified oxygen but with a reduced risk of associated infection. There is a risk of between21% - 77% of ventilator associated infections together with a fatality rate of between 20% and 61.7%.

Operation Process
Tear open the outer packaging and remove the product. Check the oxygen product batch number and the expiry date before use. Check the date of sterilisation before use.
Connect the oxygen supply system with the humidified part. Connect the other end to the oxygen delivery line. Set the flow rate for the required 10 seconds.

Points Requiring Attention
(1)Replace device when wetting liquid is close to the suction lever at the bottom of the bottle.
(2)Single use only. Dispose according to hospital policy for waste.
(3)Ensure product is sterilised and so if packaging is damaged then do not use.
Store product correctly away from direct sunlight, damp environment and not above 25 degrees centigrade.
